It can be a bit uncomfortable to overhear the fighting of your neighbors. In fact, there are times when you know you can hear every word and you become embarrassed for your feuding neighbors. Whether they love each other dearly and are just having a moment or you have become privy to their nightly anger rages, overhearing your neighbors’ arguments isn’t comfortable for anyone.
You can say something if you feel so moved. Many people let their neighbors know that their fighting is waking up the kids, if this is true, or if it is somehow impeding on the day or night for other neighbors. After all, it is better to be confronted by a neighbor who cares than one who is merely angry. Thus, if you and your fighting neighbors have a good relationship, this might be a good time to let them know that they need to tone it down.
Additionally, you can also choose to ignore it. If it seems like you might have to hear their arguments once in awhile but that they are not interrupting your life, you might feel a little better if you just do your best to stick to your own business. Either way, there is no right answer. Everyone argues from time to time, and it is possible that your neighbors overhear your arguments as well. What you choose to do about it is entirely up to you, although you can’t very well resent them for what they are unaware
